About the Role  We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Lead Software Engineer to support technical development of our AI-powered Code Security Scanner platform. This platform leverages Generative AI and advanced security automation to identify, validate, and report software vulnerabilities across enterprise codebases.  The platform consists of:  React-based web application and user dashboard  Python-based orchestration and scanning framework  Azure AI Foundry integrations  Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and cloud-native services  Containerized scanning environments and security controls  This role will be responsible for ongoing development, architectural evolution, and long-term enhancement of the platform. The successful candidate must be equally comfortable designing user-facing applications, building automation, integrating AI services, and securing cloud-native solutions.     Key Responsibilities  Platform Ownership  Serve as a lead technical developer for the AI Code Scanner platform.  Implement modernization, enhancements, and scalability initiatives.  Front-End Development  Enhance and support the React-based web application.  Improve user experience, reporting dashboards, workflow management, and administrative capabilities.  Implement secure authentication and authorization patterns.  Backend & AI Engineering  Maintain and extend Python-based orchestration and scanning services.  Build integrations with Azure AI Foundry and LLM-based security analysis capabilities.  Enhance automated vulnerability analysis, reporting, and verification workflows.  DevOps & Automation  Design and maintain GitHub Actions workflows.  Manage CI/CD pipelines and ephemeral runner infrastructure.  Improve automation, reliability, observability, and deployment processes.  Cloud Engineering  Design and support Azure-based services including:   Azure AI Foundry  Azure Functions  Azure SQL  Azure Storage  Azure Monitoring and Logging  Azure Entra ID    Required Qualifications  Experience  12 years of software engineering experience  Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications in regulated environments  Technical Skills  Front-End  Expert-level React development  JavaScript and TypeScript  Modern SPA architecture  REST APIs and authentication integrations  Backend  Expert-level Python development  API design and integration  Automation and orchestration frameworks  Test automation and quality engineering  DevOps  GitHub Actions  CI/CD pipeline design  Infrastructure automation  Container technologies  Cloud  Microsoft Azure  Azure Functions  Azure SQL  Azure Storage  Azure Entra ID  Managed Identities  Azure RBAC  AI & Automation  Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs)  Azure AI Foundry or equivalent AI platforms  Agent-based workflows and automation frameworks  Security  Secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC)  Authentication and authorization (OAuth, OIDC, SAML)  Secrets management  Container security  Application security and vulnerability management    Preferred Qualifications  Experience building security scanning platforms  Background in Application Security or DevSecOps  Experience with SARIF and static analysis tools  Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and sandboxed execution environments  Familiarity with Azure APIM and enterprise networking  Experience building AI-assisted developer or security tooling  Prior experience in financial services or other regulated industries    Success Criteria  Within the first 12 months, this individual will:  Successfully support and enhance Code Scanner Platform.  Deliver new scanning and reporting capabilities.  Improve platform scalability and reliability.  Expand AI-powered vulnerability detection capabilities.  Drive modernization of the architecture and development practices.  Ideal Candidate Profile  We are looking for a senior engineer who combines:  Full-stack development expertise  Deep Python engineering skills  Strong GitHub Actions and DevOps experience  Azure cloud architecture knowledge  AI/LLM integration experience  Security engineering mindset  Ability to independently own and evolve a strategic cybersecurity platform  Salary Range: $114,500 - 194,700 USD Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
